In 30 years of surgical practice, Mr Perez has undertaken over 10,000 operative interventions.

Mr Perez is Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Circle and HCA Hospitals in London. He is also a founding partner at Progen Orthopaedics, a group of nationally and internationally renowned Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

Progen Orthopaedics specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and management of all musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, fractures and arthritis.

Mr Perez qualified from Guys Hospital Medical School in 1987. 

 

He completed formal orthopaedic training in the UK being awarded the Inter-collegiate Specialist Exam in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery in 1999.

 

Mr Perez undertook fellowships in Hand, Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder Surgery in 2000 and 2001 at world-recognised centres of excellence in Sydney, Australia.

 

He returned to London to be appointed Consultant at North West London Hospitals Trust in 2002 where he is currently the lead clinician for Hand and Elbow Surgery.

 

Clinical practice since that time has been exclusively as an Upper Limb Surgeon. 

 

Mr Perez has treated professional and amateur athletes including Olympian gold medalist’s and world record holders (after his intervention).

 

He has a particular interest in small joint osteoarthritis in the hand, wrist pain, degenerative conditions of the shoulder and elbow. 

 

Until 2018 he treated complex Upper Limb Trauma on the NHS receiving referrals from colleagues in surrounding hospitals. He still treats selective trauma cases.
